It' s lovely to see all the children back to
school . They all seem to have got taller .
A big welcome to Quade Ingram and his family.
I have a stomach bug today . Hope the children
don't get it.
Your children might have mentioned to you that
we will be participating in a fundraiser for KidsCan on Friday called “The Big
Apple Crunch”. Can you please send in a gold
coin dotation for this? NZ is trying to beat the world record of
having all kids crunching into an apple at 2.13 pm !!!
You should have also
received the notice for the Gym
Festival in week 4. The cost for those, who paid for the Marine
reserve visit that we couldn’t go to, is only
$1 for everyone else it is $3.50.
It would be great if you
could come and support us on the day!

Also next week will be Book
Week. The whole school will have a book character parade on
Friday 17th May. Perhaps this weekend you could get a costume together of your
child’s favourite book character. We don’t expect you to spend money on it. It’s
about coming up with a costume with the things you have at home.eg a farmer,
princess, an animal , bob the builder, spider man , sports player . The teachers
dress up as well . It's lots of fun .Come and watch the parade in the hall
!
