Puppet Play

Room 15 worked with the Student Council on Friday.

They used the iPads and made a puppet play.

They used an App called "Puppet Pals".

We have been learning about the letter Ss. We have been listening to the 's' sounds in words. Sophyra name starts with a capital S . Fabian's surname has a Sh sound at the beginning and an s at the end .

We found words with 2 ss  as in glass .

We loved George visiting us today . We wrote stories about George .We will video ourselves reading our stories about George and Gavin tomorrow.

We are learning about the letter l . Louis and Emma-Lee have a  capital L .Willow and Sharelle  have 2 l's in their names. Oliver, Amelia and Elizabeth have l's in their name. Casey calls this shape a long stick.

Today we practised our Casey the Caterpillar handwriting on the chalkboards. We are learning that Casey Shapes make up letters and what shapes make up each letter. Today we learnt the letter  l: tall stick. We can draw a tree trunk ,long and short sticks.

 

We are learning to do careful colouring

and pasting .

We ripped little bits of paper to fill

up the long stick and carefully coloured in the lion.
